Independent PLM Consultancy

About

Independent. Real. Credible

History

During my years in manufacturing I have tackled many interesting projects, from tool design to time study, factory commissioning to factory closures, and pretty much everything in between including leading maintenance teams and total responsibility for high volume production lines.

My move out of the ‘real world’ of manufacturing was the positive outcome of a bet, which was swiftly followed by a job offer, and so began my PLM journey; a journey which has taken me all over the world, sounds glamorous? But only ever seeing airports, hotels and factories isn’t really much to brag about, but my hotel points account balance is!

The majority of my time in PLM has been spent in Aerospace and Defence, involved in projects that jet us away on our annual holiday to those that cannot be spoken about, yet allow us to sleep soundly at night, safe in the knowledge that our country is continuously defended.

One thing that cannot be denied, is that there is a common thread that runs through my career – manufacturing.

Over the years, I have seen many companies that could benefit from the advantages of my unique approach, yet they are caught between taking on expensive, disruptive service delivery projects or continuing to suffer under the inefficiency of the as-is.

This is why I set up Delta PLM, to provide a people, process, data and technology consultancy service independent of application and vendor to enable customers to achieve a level of digitalisation maturity that is appropriate for them.
